By September 3, 2025October 31st, 2025No Comments

The Fairfield Beach Association (FBA) invites all residents to join us on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 7:00 PM for our Annual Meeting at the newly rebuilt Penfield Pavilion. This year’s gathering offers an opportunity to honor our first responders, hear important community updates, and connect with neighbors along Fairfield Beach.

Honoring Our First Responders

As the meeting coincides with the anniversary of September 11, we’ll open the evening with a commemoration led by the Port-5 National Association of Naval Veterans (Bridgeport, CT) Color Guard. This solemn tribute recognizes the service and sacrifice of those who protect our community every day.

Town and State Updates

Following the ceremony, attendees will hear directly from Fairfield’s Police and Fire Departments, along with key town and state officials, including:

  • Christine Vitale, Acting First Selectman
  • Jennifer Leeper, State Representative, 132nd District (Fairfield and Southport)
  • Tony Hwang, State Senator, 28th District

These leaders will share updates on local initiatives, public safety, and coastal priorities shaping Fairfield’s future.

FBA Plans for the Year Ahead

The FBA Board will present a brief overview of our ongoing and upcoming efforts — from coastal protection and traffic safety to community engagement and responsible development. It’s an important opportunity to learn how the Association is working to preserve the integrity, safety, and character of Fairfield Beach.

Meet Your Neighbors

After the formal program, stay for our Wine & Cheese Social Hour, a relaxed chance to meet fellow residents, discuss ideas, and celebrate our shared commitment to this remarkable coastal community.

We hope you’ll join us at Penfield Pavilion on September 11 for an evening of reflection, connection, and community.

The Fairfield Beach Association (FBA) was founded in 1955 as a way to give Fairfield Beach residents a unified voice in local matters affecting safety, livability, and the environment. Over the decades, it has grown into a trusted, representative organization advocating on behalf of more than 3,000 residents and 1,300 households across the beach area — from Old Post Road to Beach Road and from Reef Road to the end of Fairfield Beach Road.

FBA operates as a registered 501(c)(4) nonprofit civic association, which means it exists solely to promote the welfare of the community, not for profit. Our members include year-round homeowners, seasonal residents, and local partners who share a commitment to maintaining the integrity, safety, and natural beauty of Fairfield Beach. Through regular meetings, town collaboration, and community events, FBA helps build stronger relationships among neighbors and ensures that every resident has a voice in shaping the future of the shoreline.
