Plant your street tree for only $75

Help replenish our neighborhood with trees lost during hurricane Sandy!

The FBRA will pay half the cost ($75) of 20 street trees to member/residents of the Association's geographic perimeter.  This offer is made through the Town of Fairfield's Plant-A-Tree Program.

Volunteers for the 6th 5K Road Race – June 24, 2017

In June 2017, for the 6th consecutive year, the Fairfield Beach Residents Association will host the 5K Road Race; the 5K is held the day before and in conjunction with Fairfield Firefighters Half Marathon.

Our volunteers working together as a team have found this to be both fun and rewarding, especially knowing the funds raised for the two day event have benefited the following organizations:

Homes for the Brave - homeless vets in Bridgeport -$10,000 last year
Fisher House - Wounded soldiers families housed - new house being built in New Haven - $10,000

Fairfield YMCA - $15,000 last year
Fairfield Beach Residents Association - $5,000
Disabled American Vets $10,000 last year
Operation Gift Card - wounded soldiers at Walter Reid Hospital - $10,000 last year
Signature recipient is Hole in the Wall Gang - they have raised over $200,000 in the last 3 years.
Leukemia/Lymphoma Society - they have risen over $1,000,000 in last 7 years.
Southport based Giants Steps - Autism Spectrum Disorder
Many smaller groups like Southport and Stratfield Volunteer Firefighters, Tiny Miracles (families with premature babies) A Project from the Heart (sends packages to troops in Afghanistan) and other non-profits.

We welcome and need new volunteers and hope you will consider joining us for this event.  The FBRA appreciates all who have volunteered the last five years and to know that we count on your help again. Contact us if you would like to volunteer.
